Adventure Ready Filming

“I’ve now met the first film crew to be able to keep up with me and my team”

Nathan Fa’avae – 7 x Adventure Racing World Champion

Who it's for

For production companies and brands who care about deeper stories, told and shown beautifully, and who’d rather lean into longer-form work than a 30-second spot. Whether I’m crewing on your shoot or running the whole production, you get someone who’s properly invested in it.

This is about storytelling – this isn’t for dopamine-hit reels without context.

What I offer

I specialise in documentary – human-powered stories, from short portraits to immersive, expedition-style films in wild places.

For hire
On your production, I come on as cinematographer or DoP, or as a camera operator when that’s what the shoot needs.

In-house productions
Clients turn to me for the whole process: developing ideas, directing on location, and delivering high-quality films that resonate. I also work with brands and commercial clients to craft story-led content with depth and purpose.

Why me

Stories can only be told if they are shared. I spent a lifetime learning how to connect with people, like properly connect, and engage with them on a metaphysical level. When I’m focusing on the stories that matter, I want my audience to experience that same depth that I’ve found during the production, whether for a documentary character, or telling the generational history of a family-owned business.

How it works

  1. Ideas – We start with the lightbulb moment, yours or mine, and grow it into a concept with legs.
  2. Story – I build the film around the story’s values and the key messages it needs to carry. Where a film’s led by voiceover, I’ll record the interview early, so we shoot to what people actually said.
  3. Refine – We shape it together, with you on commercial work or with the people on camera for documentary.
  4. Production – Shoot, edit, grade and sound, with everyone involved kept part of it the whole way through.
